The Grande Prairie Storm have acquired 2003 born forward Austin Reschny from the Okotoks Oilers.

The second year Oiler forward comes to Grande Prairie with 3 goals, 6 assists and 39 penalty minutes, after 24 games played. Austin is a strong 200-foot hockey player, that specializes in face-offs and the penalty kill.

“When Austin is given the opportunity to provide offense, he’s more than capable of helping us in the goal scoring department,” says Storm General Manager Mark Bomersback. “It’s easy to like everything about the player on the ice but it’s what he brings off the ice that makes the most impact. He is a quality individual that we are bringing into our locker room and the community of Grande Prairie. We are excited to have him.”
