The 2024 National Aboriginal Hockey Championship comes to Alberta for the first time ever – May 6th to 11th at the Design Works Centre in Grande Prairie!  

This will mark the first time an Alberta community hosts this prestigious event.

The 2024 National Aboriginal Hockey Championship are sponsored by the City of Grande Prairie!

Come cheer on elite U-15 and U-18 Indigenous male and female youth from across Canada! 

Throughout the week, teams will compete fiercely, vying for the coveted gold medal.

The event not only showcases exceptional hockey talent and culture but also bolsters sport tourism in Grande Prairie, highlighting the city's capacity to host major national sporting events.
