County council received positive feedback on the new Clairmont Centre for Recycling and Waste Management Access Program and Waste Card, that was launched on November 1, 2022.

The Access Program allows every County household to dispose of up to 1,000 kilograms of waste for free at the Clairmont Centre each year. 

They encourage households who haven’t obtained the new Waste Card yet to speed up the application process by applying online at www.countygp.ab.ca/wastecard before their next visit to the Centre.
