On Monday, June 29, at a 6:35 PM, Dawson Creek RCMP responded to a report of two cyclists who had been struck by a vehicle at the intersection of 105th Avenue and 8th Street.

Both riders sustained injury and were taken to hospital in stable condition. One of the cyclist was dragged by the vehicle for a short distance.

The suspect failed to remain at the scene however witness were able to help police identify the vehicle and the driver involved in the crash.

Although multiple witnesses have come forward, the police would like to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the crash, or have any information about it.
