At approximately 07:12 a.m. on Sunday, January 5th, The Wembley Fire Department, Beaverlodge Fire Department and County Regional Fire Service Clairmont Station were dispatched to a reported structure fire on Township Road 722 near Range Road 85.  Upon arrival, smoke and flames were observed coming from underneath the mobile home. The first arriving engine quickly attacked the fire knocking it down. Additional resources arrived and worked to keep the fire from spreading, then ensured it was fully extinguished.

Fire crews prevented the fire from getting into the living area of the structure, containing damage to the underside of the home.  No one was injured as a result of the fire. The County Fire Marshall has investigated the cause and determined it to be from heat tape installed under the trailer intended to keep water lines from freezing.
