Feb. 11:

Today, Feb. 11, the Fort St. John RCMP provided a photo and description of the suspect in the Feb. 1 Shoppers Drug Mart theft.  

The suspect is described as: 

  • Caucasian male 
  • approximately 6 ft/182cm tall, 
  • approximately 190lbs/86kgs 
  • wearing all blue coveralls 
  • wearing a grey hood 
  • wearing a dark head covering under the hood and 
  • wearing a dark mask 
  • wearing blue nitrile gloves 
  • wearing black runners with white soles. 

The stolen items include: 

  • HP laptops 
  • HP Chromebook 
  • Acer Switch 
  • 2 JBL Bluetooth speakers 
  • Amazon Fire tablet (Kids) 
  • Amazon Fire tablet 
  • 3 Samsung Galaxy tablets 
  • 3 Samsung Galaxy cellphones 

The Fort St John RCMP continue to investigate and ask anyone who has information in this matter to contact police. 


On Monday, Feb. 1 at approximately 5:40 a.m., the Fort St. John RCMP responded to a break and enter alarm at Shoppers Drug Mart, located at 10300 block of 100th St in the City. 

Frontline police officers arrived to find both front glass doors shattered and the suspect gone. Initial review of onsite surveillance showed a single suspect in blue coveralls entering the store, making their way toward the front counter area then leaving the store a very short time later.  

Police conducted foot and mobile patrols in the area but did not locate the suspect.  

"It is still early in the investigation," said Cst Chad Neustaeter, Media Relations Officer for the Fort St. John RCMP.  "The Fort St. John RCMP is working closely with Shoppers Drug Mart staff to gain additional details for further investigation." 

The Fort St. John RCMP continue to investigate and are asking anyone who may have witnessed this incident, if they may have seen or heard anything in that area around that time, to contact police and provide any additional information.
