Peace River, Alta. – On May 17, 2019, at approximately 9:45 A.M., Peace Regional RCMP responded to a report of an attempted armed robbery at a business in the area of 100th street and 96th avenue in Peace River, Alberta.  Investigation revealed that a male suspect followed an employee into a business and produced what appeared to be a handgun.  The suspect ultimately fled the scene on foot and was last seen running toward 101st street, between 96th and 97th avenue.  Nobody was harmed during this incident.

The suspect has yet to be located and is described as, male with slender build, approximately 5'5" (165 cm) in height, and wearing sunglasses, ball cap, grey hooded sweater, and black pants.
