After a two-year-long wait, Hillsong Young & Free is releasing an album full of new music for the first time since III.

In 2018, Hillsong Young & Free released III, reaching the second spot on the Christian charts in the United States. Later in the year and further into 2019, they released three other albums based on III but has yet to share a new album.

"Yes, it is coming out soon (seriously). Yes, we promise," the band says on Twitter.

Visiting a studio back in January, the band recorded a brand-new album. They have not released a tracklist but did leave a hint.

"Yes, we recorded an album in January. No, It hasn't come out yet. Yes, we've released a lot of singles. No, you won't have to wait much longer."

Songs the group have released since recording include:

  • "Best Friends"
  • "Lord Send Revival"
  • "Never Have I Ever"
  • "World Outside Your Window"
  • “Uncomplicated”

The name of the new album has not been officially revealed and is expected to be shared once the album drops on Friday.
