This weekend is the 31st annual Festival of Trees, in support of the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital Foundation.

"Discover the magic of Christmas at this year’s Festival of Trees – an enchanted Christmas wonderland marking the start of the Holiday season in Grande Prairie. Working to enhance healthcare across the province, the Festival of Trees is the largest annual fundraiser for the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital Foundation (GPRHF) and is a three-day event filled with entertainment and seasonal fun for the whole family."

The festival includes favourites like the Teddy Bear Hospital, sleigh rides, live entertainment, miniature treeland, gingerbread lane, the candy shop, Christmas market, and of course, spectacular trees and Christmas creations.

Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for children, $6 for seniors, or a family pass for $22 which includes 3 children and 2 adults.

The festival runs Friday from 10 am to 6 pm, Saturday from 10 am to 8 pm, and Sunday from 12 pm to 5 pm.
