The County of Grande Prairie is inviting the public to tour and take part in testing their new website, set to launch later this year.

The new site, which is an essential way to access information, services and more, will have a user-friendly interface with a sleek design and features to better meet the needs of the public.

When are the sessions?

The next user testing session will take place virtually on Friday, October 16 from 11 a.m. to noon. Participating is simple, with attendees touring the new website and completing a few tasks to see how well site functions work. Feedback from the session will be used to improve and finalize the site before it launches.

How to participate

Testers can participate right from their own homes or offices using a laptop or desktop computer. Individuals without computers can also participate by emailing communications@countygp.ab.ca to arrange to use a computer at the County Administration Building in Clairmont. Physical distancing and other COVID-19 hygiene practices will be observed.

Who can participate?

There is no requirement to be technologically savvy. The County invites anyone over the age of 18 to register.

How to participate

Individuals interested in participating in the virtual session must register by Friday, October 9. To register, email communications@countygp.ab.ca or contact 780-532-9722 and ask for the Communications department.

Everyone who participates in the session will be entered to win one of three draw prizes, which includes vouchers to the Grande Prairie Sunset Drive-In Theatre, the Blatchford Field of Nightmares at Evergreen Park, and the Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum.
