County census workers wearing identification badges will be out and about starting Monday, April 15, ready to help residents complete the census in person, at their front door. All that’s needed is the PIN card that was delivered to County households earlier this month.

A census is an official count of the number of people living in a municipality at a given time. The County will use the census data to better understand the community and how to serve the population as it changes.

Updated census data will also help ensure the County receives appropriate grant funding from the province, inform local service delivery needs for residents, and attract new businesses and economic development opportunities.

With only six required questions, completing the census is a fast and simple process.

Online or in person, be sure to count yourself in!
