Thousands of young adults are beginning their new year with worship, prayer, and scripture.

In the Atlanta Mercedes-Benz Stadium, 65,000 18-25 year-olds as part of the Passion 2020 conference are focusing on "being a light" in the world from December 31 to January 2, 2020.

With special guest performers and speakers from Ravi Zacharias, to Sadie Robertson, and Lecrae the sold-out event has quite the platform.

The organizers state on their website, "Passion is more than a conference. More than an event. More than a feeling. Passion is you and me saying goodbye to lesser things and saying yes to Jesus, the One whose name is above every name."

Every year, the event encourages its attendees to raise funds for organizations around the world. This year the young adults supported Share Light, a bible-translation campaign.

A flame that was lit in Jerusalem was carried to the stadium as a representation of their duty to share His light around the world.

In 2019, 40,000 young people attended the event and raised over $400,000 for Deaf bible translation.
