In the midst of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, congregations across the country, including some from Manitoba, came together to sing a song of worship and blessing over Canada.

"The Blessing," written by Steven Furtick, Chris Brown, Kari Jobe, and Cody Carnes earlier this year is a song many have taken to heart during this uncertain and challenging time during the global coronavirus pandemic.

To bring churches across Canada together, congregations from B.C. to the Maritimes came together to worship and bless each other with a cross-Canada performance of "The Blessing."

"As the world has come together in a time of crisis, the church has united in prayer and worship to bless our communities around the world in the Name of Jesus," text in the video reads to preface the performance.

"With one voice, this is our prayer over Canada."

The video, posted by The Blessing - Canada, about 127 churches can be seen participating in the powerful worship piece.

Worship leaders from Grant Memorial Church, My Church Winnipeg, and Faith Covenant Church can be seen representing Winnipeg congregations in the performance, along with Plum Coulee's Rosemary Siemens.
