Nov. 24:

The High Prairie RCMP can confirm that Everett Auger, 48, has been located deceased. 

Everett was reported missing on Nov. 22 and High Prairie RCMP with several supporting units conducted various ground searches for him.  His body has been located in a wooded area and the RCMP have no indication that there is any criminality involved in his death. 


On Nov. 22, High Prairie RCMP received a report from a family member that Everett Allen Auger, a 48-year-old male from Whitefish River First Nations,  had not been heard from since Wednesday, Nov. 18. 

High Prairie RCMP’s investigation indicates Everett Auger was last seen during the afternoon of Nov. 20, on Whitefish River First Nations; however, efforts to locate him have been unsuccessful. High Prairie RCMP search efforts continue. 

High Prairie RCMP would like to speak to Everett to confirm his well-being. 

Everett Allen Auger is described as: 

  • 6’ tall 
  • 231 lbs 
  • Brown eyes 
  • Short brown hair 
  • Indigenous
