McHappy Day 2024 in Grande Prairie proved to be a resounding success, with a grand total of $51,060.16 raised locally.
Patrons from McDonald’s restaurants across the country participated in this annual event on May 8th, dedicated to supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) and local children's charities.
The heartwarming initiative pledged to donate 10 percent of all menu item sales to these worthy causes. As a result, Ronald McDonald House Charities Alberta, My LuvPak Ltd., and the Grande Prairie Firefighters Charitable Foundation will each receive a portion of the generous donations, ensuring that their invaluable work continues to make a positive impact on the lives of children and families in need.
