Hinton RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two individuals involved in an ATM theft at approximately 4:30 a.m. this morning, February 11, at the Shell Gas station located on Gregg avenue in Hinton.

The two individuals were driving a stolen 2003 black GMC Sierre crew cab truck, with BC plate number MS 3998, which was stolen earlier in the morning at approximately 1:30 a.m. from Steele Crescent in Hinton.

The suspect backed-up the truck to the store and were able to successfully drag the ATM through the store and load it onto the back of the truck. The truck was last seen traveling eastbound on Hwy 16.

The first suspect is described as:

  • Wearing blue and yellow coveralls
  • Black boots, gloves, and toque
  • Black faceguard with a yellow headlight

The second suspect is described as:

  • Wearing a black coat with black pants, with black boots and hat
  • Grey gloves
  • With a white bandana over the face
