Tickets are now on sale for the 28th Rotary Dream Home Lottery, ten days earlier than planned. 

“With the most recent restrictions that were put in place, the Dream Home is not able to open to the public as initially planned for Dec 26th,” Says Raffle Manager Melissa Coulombe. “Many people look forward to the opening of the home each year, countdown the days with us and are lined up on opening morning. With having to deliver the news that we won’t initially be open for in person viewing, we wanted to also give some good news and share we have released tickets just in time for the holidays!”  

The Grand Prize Dream Home, valued over 1.3 Million Dollars is located in Taylor Estates and built by Unique Home Concepts. The 2021 Dream Home has over five thousand square feet of useable space finished with stunning contemporary style, thoughtful planning, careful construction, exceptional craftsmanship and fine attention to detail that is evident inside and out.  This home design emanates a grand presence and boasts many unique features like a self-watering living wall, a hanging bed, and a large metal ball maze, while also maintaining an overall thoughtful practicality. 

The Dream Home Lottery consist of 3 lotteries that include the Dream Home, the Cash Cow Calendar where you can win up to $10,000 a day, weekdays in May and the Cash Jackpot 5050. New for this years lottery is 15 Cash Jackpot 5050 tickets for $50 as well as the famous Party Pack of tickets that was previously $690 has been reduced to $650 but with more tickets. 

Raffle Manager Melissa Coulombe says, “We wanted to give people the opportunity to get more for less. Our Party Pack includes 8 Dream Home Tickets, 3 Cash Cow Calendar Tickets and 15 Cash Jackpot 5050 tickets which is an increase of Ten 5050 tickets in the pack for less money. The Dream Home Lottery is one of the biggest fundraisers for our region. Funds raised go right back into the communities we live in, support the groups and organizations our kids are part of or that truly do good and impact the incredible ongoing efforts made by so many to make our community a bit better everyday. It’s been a hard year and we want to be able to continue raising the funds we do, continue to give back and support so many worthwhile causes while also giving those who support the lottery a cost savings and more chances to win. ” 

The home is currently not open to the public for viewing but a 3D tour is available online at www.winadreamhome.ca. As guidelines continue to be updated the Dream Home Lottery has hopes to be open for viewing sometime prior to the final draw date set for late April 2021.
