A section of 163 Avenue in Clairmont, from 95 Street to 96 Street, has been closed to allow for stormwater management.

Due to this year’s heavy spring runoff, maintenance of the Crossroads stormwater pond is required to prevent water from breaching the banks and potentially impacting nearby infrastructure. Crews will dewater the pond, which involves its partial drainage.

Work is expected to be complete by the end of June, weather dependent.

Motorists are advised to detour using 158 Avenue and 98 Street.

The County thanks motorists for their patience and cooperation.
