The City of Grande Prairie is excited to announce the completion of the new turf installation at our lawn bowling facility in Muskoseepi Park.

"Enhancing recreational facilities is a key part of Council's strategic priority of improving residents' Quality of Life,” said Grande Prairie Mayor Jackie Clayton. “The new lawn bowling turf reflects our commitment to providing amenities that foster community engagement and promote a healthy, active lifestyle."

This upgrade aims to enhance the experience for all lawn bowling enthusiasts and event hosts in our community. The facility will be open for bookings and equipment rentals starting July 2, right after Canada Day. All inquiries will be managed through the Ernie Radbourne Pavilion, which operates from 10 am to 8 pm daily. After-hours rental requests can be made through Guest Services, with a minimum booking notice of three days.

The Lawn Bowling Clubhouse accommodates up to 12 people comfortably, while the expansive outdoor greenspace can welcome up to 100 guests. This makes the facility ideal for a wide range of events, including birthday parties, corporate events, family gatherings, and lawn games.
