Division 5 Councillor Bob Marshall was elected as Reeve and Division 6 Councillor Peter Harris as Deputy Reeve at today’s County Council organizational meeting.

“With the support of my fellow Councillors, I am honoured to serve as Reeve for the County,” said Bob Marshall. “This is a challenging time for our economy. Prioritizing residents’ needs by continuing to invest in critical projects and essential programs will remain my focus in this new leadership role.”

Deputy Reeve Peter Harris said, “I will continue to focus on economic development and ensuring the County remains a great place for residents to live and work. I want to express my gratitude to Council for their ongoing vote of confidence as I begin my fourth term as Deputy Reeve.”

Council’s annual organizational meeting provides an opportunity for Councillors to elect a Reeve and Deputy Reeve and make various committee appointments.
