Salvation Army churches in Birchy Bay, Comfort Cove, and Bayview are suffering losses after what RCMP believe are connected incidents.

Investigations continue as three east-coast Salvation Army churches were robbed and one additionally vandalized. The three incidents occurred over the course of two weeks.

RCMP say that in the week between February 10 and February 17, the first church, located in Birchy Bay, was robbed of a guitar and a laptop.

One week later a second church, in Comfort Cove, was broken into and a safe was stolen sometime between February 19 and February 20.

Additionally, sometime between Monday evening and Tuesday morning, a third church's food bank was vandalized and robbed of cash in Bayview. After the police left, the church was able to host its coffee house that evening.

Authorities are currently looking for the suspects.
