The MD of Greenview is inviting people to participate in a Functional Planning Study to address the future roadway requirements along the 85-kilometre length of Highway 40 from north of the Norbord access to south of the Kakwa River.

The objective of the study is to identify further highway safety improvements and the need for additional passing, climbing lanes in the short-term and define the requirements for further network expansion in the longer-term.

People can join an open Zoom workshop on Tuesday, June 15 from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Those interested are encouraged to pre-register at Highway40.ca

Pre-registration is available but not mandatory to attend. There will be a presentation and CastleGlenn Consultants Inc. representatives will be in attendance to answer questions.

People can learn more about the project and provide feedback on the future of the Highway 40 corridor on the online engagement platform at Highway40.ca. It will be available until June 30.
