The City of Grande Prairie has announced a new opportunity for a local entrepreneur to provide food and beverage services in Muskoseepi Park at the Ernie Radbourne Pavilion.

The facility sees high traffic during the summer months which poses an opportunity for a favourable return on investment. A competitive lease rate is available, making it an attractive offer for start-ups that are interested in growing their business in Grande Prairie.

The 288 square foot kitchen is being leased for $1,500 a month, including utilities and common area costs, for a one-year term, with a one-time renewal option. There will also be a first right of refusal to purchase existing kitchen equipment.

Expressions of interest for the leased kitchen are being accepted until August 10. Hours of operation will be proposed by the business as the City recognizes the seasonality and variable hours and traffic of the facility.

The volume of patrons to the Ernie Radbourne Pavilion varies by season, for that reason those interested in the space are encouraged to consider innovative business models to maximize revenue.
