Telford Randall Howe was arrested on his outstanding warrant this morning as a result of a tip received by the public.

He remains in police custody and was previously charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, commit an indicated offence while disguised, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public from an incident on Apr.16 in Whitecourt.

The Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit continues to investigate the homicide and are asking anyone with information in relation to the incident from Apr. 25, that occurred in the area of 106 Avenue and 102 Street in Grande Prairie, to contact Grande Prairie RCMP at 780-831-2340, or your local police.
