On March 31, 2019, Grande Prairie RCMP responded to a call to an apartment building of a suspect breaking into mailboxes at the location. RCMP located the suspect and found weapons and drugs in the contents of the suspect's belongings.

The 33-year olf man, Michael Jeffrey Ginter, is facing the following charges:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking x 3
  • Possession of property obtained by crime x 3
  • Fail to comply with conditions of release x 5
  • Possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose x 3
  • Careless use of a firearm x 3

Mr. Ginter remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in Grande Prairie Provincial Court on May 6, 2019.
