The Louisiana singer was invited back to the show to perform during American Idol's finale on Sunday night along with other former Idol contestants, including Phillip Phillips and Jordan Sparks.

One of the show's final contestants, Just Sam, auditioned with Daigle's song "Rise Up."

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the visiting singers will be performing from home.

Daigle has been sharing videos and music throughout the pandemic, including a distanced-version of "Still Rolling Stones" over Easter. Her own world tour was rescheduled due to the pandemic.

The singer says she is "so excited" to perform in the finale. While performers may be at home, the show promises that there will still be confetti cannons.
