A Christian comedian who was embroiled in a scandal surrounding accusations of sexual misconduct in the fall of 2019 may be getting ready for a comeback.

John Crist was in the middle of a tour when allegations surfaced on November 6 in a Charisma News story. Five women had come forward at the time alleging Crist used his fame "to harass, manipulate and exploit young women over the last seven years."

On Monday, July 13, the profile picture of Crist's Facebook fan page was updated. It's the first time there has been any activity whatsoever on Crist's media profiles since the allegations came out.

Within an hour of posting, there were over 3,000 comments and hundreds of shares. The vast majority of those comments have been seemingly positive with fans welcoming Crist back.

At the time of the allegations in 2019, Crist admitted to some sins. In an emailed statement to Charisma Crist said, "While I am not guilty of everything I've been accused of, I confess to being guilty of this—I have treated relationships with women far too casually, in some cases even recklessly."
