Christian filmmakers Jon and Andrew Erwin are sharing the story of a Superbowl champion in their latest project.

Following the success of films such as I Still Believe, I Can Only Imagine, and others, the pair of brothers are set to release a new film next year. This time, the new biopic is about football.

American Underdog: The Kurt Warner Story is Jon and Andrew Erwin's latest project. The 2013 GMA Dove Award-winners' next project is looking at the story of Kurt Warner, an American football player.

They have not released many details about the film, but Zachary Levi is set to star as Kurt Warner in the upcoming film.

The movie's synopsis says the film follows' the athlete's story as he "went from stocking shelves at a supermarket to becoming an American Football star."

This is not the pair's first football movie. In 2015 they release Woodlawn, a faith-filled football film about racial segregation.

Fans of the brothers will need to wait sometime before seeing the new faith film as American Underdog: The Kurt Warner Story is set to be released in December of 2021.
