The Grande Prairie Storm announced this week they’ve acquired a new forward from the Drumheller Dragons, in exchange for future considerations.

Fort St. John born Curtis Hammond is a 5’11”, 165-pound right winger, born in 2001.

Curtis played 36 games in the 2019-20 season for the Bonnyville Pontiacs, scoring 15 points for a 0.4 points per game average. He was acquired by the Dragons from the Pontiacs as part of a futures trade during the off-season.

The GP Storm is currently in their development season. Over the weekend, they cut back the roster and started again yesterday with their 25 players. Eight local players made the team.
