On Tuesday, Sept. 8 at 3:17 p.m., the Fort St. John RCMP received a report of an unknown woman being observed running down the street in the area of 89 St and 87th Ave Fort St. John.   

The woman was heard to be screaming and appeared to have been pursued by an unknown male. The woman was reported to be wearing a black dress and appeared to have injuries to her face. 

The Fort St John RCMP continue to investigate and are asking anyone who may have witnessed this incident, if they may have seen or heard anything in that area around that time, to contact police and provide any additional information to police.
