The Wembley Fire Department is reporting a break-in that happened early this morning, Feb. 4.

In a Facebook post, the Department says that someone forced entry to the station at 4:45 and stole an undisclosed amount of assets. They won’t note the items taken until a full investigation has been completed.

A local resident noticed unusual activity and the damage to the station and made the call to the RCMP.

The Department says that the suspect arrived on foot from the south in the back alley and departed the same direction. Security camera shots show the suspect in a Polaris snowmobile jacket and facemask with white design.
