The Government of Alberta has approved disaster recovery programs in new communities to help residents, businesses and not-for-profit organizations recover from flooding caused by severe rainstorms and ice jams in spring 2018. Financial assistance for uninsurable property damage, loss and other related expenses caused by natural disasters is available to municipalities and Albertans under the approved programs.
If you live in the County of Grande Prairie and your property was damaged by flooding in spring 2018, you may be eligible to receive Disaster Recovery Program funding from the Government of AB.
