Parents in Grande Prairie have an opportunity to learn more about the Pre-Kindergarten and Toddler Care Programs at Dave Barr Community Centre at an open house on Friday, August 30 from 9:00 a.m.- 11:00 a.m.

The open house takes place at Dave Barr Community Centre and is an opportunity for parents to learn more about the programs, view the spaces and register their children. It is open for all families.

Pre-Kindergarten is available for children ages 3-6 years old and provides the education and guidance they need to learn the basics of reading, writing and classroom settings before entering Kindergarten. It is offered September-June with a variety of half-day scheduling options.

Toddler Care is a full-time daycare option available for children ages 19 months to 3 years old. The daycare program encourages children to engage in active play, group times, outside time, making crafts and using a

variety of play centres to develop all areas of development in a play-based environment.

Dave Barr Community Centre is the home for all of the City of Grande Prairie Childcare Services. These are regulated by the Government of Alberta and are accredited by the Accreditation of Early Learning and Care Services. For more information, visit davebarcc.ca or call 780-538-0491.
