Crews are currently working on putting up the City of Grande Prairie’s new entrance features.

Last year, the City opened a space for residents to share what they wanted in the new signs to be erected on the north and west gateway entrances. There were 96 ideas and 170 survey contributions.

Common design themes noted by participants included: swans, Muskoseepi Park sign stylization, Canadian diversity and inclusion, and a modern, fresh design.

The City created three design concepts and asked for community feedback, using this to create the final design.

You can see the north-side sign at 132 Ave.
