The Grande Prairie & District Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Federal Election All-Candidates Forum on Thursday, October 10, 2019 in the Douglas J. Cardinal Performing Arts Centre (DJCPAC) at Grande Prairie Regional College (GPRC).

All candidates for the October 21st Federal Election in the Grande Prairie-McKenzie riding are invited to participate.

All candidates will have the opportunity to be available to meet the public in the area outside the DJCPAC at GPRC beginning at 5:30 PM, with the forum starting promptly at 6:30. No one will be allowed to enter during opening remarks out of respect for the candidates.

Each candidate will have the opportunity to expand on their political platform. Once all candidates have been heard, the question period will begin. Questions will be both predetermined as well as received from attendees submitted in written form. 

The moderator reserves the right to limit the number of questions pertaining to the same issue; to rule out of order any question deemed inappropriate, offensive or derogatory; and to rule out of order any person who attempts to use the question period as a platform for expressing a point of view on any issue. Answers to questions will be limited in time to allow for the maximum number of questions.

Following the question period, each candidate will be allowed time for rebuttal and/or to summarize their platform. 

There is no cost to attend and no registration is required. Doors to the DJCPAC will open at 6:00 PM. No one will be allowed to enter during opening remarks out of respect for the candidates.
