The Grande Prairie Museum, Heritage Discovery Centre and Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum are celebrating International Museum Day with free events at all locations on Sept. 5 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Activities include fossil labs and challenges at the Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum, an Indigenous craft at the Grande Prairie Museum and a community sports mural painting at the Heritage Discovery Centre.

Mini prizes will be randomly drawn for participants who complete one of the scavenger hunts. A grand prize will be randomly drawn for participants who complete all 3 scavenger hunts at each location. Full details on how to download the app, complete tasks and win prizes is available at the International Museum Day page on cityofgp.com
