Beaverlodge RCMP have laid charges against a 34-year-old man following an investigation into allegations of sexual interference that occurred in 2016.

In February 2021, RCMP received a report of a sexual offence against a young child and immediately the Beaverlodge RCMP with assistance from Western Alberta District General Investigation Section and Caribou Centre initiated an investigation into the allegations.

On March 1, investigators arrested Timothy Shawn Superville, 34, of Beaverlodge, with sexual interference.

Superville has been released from custody following a Judicial Interim Hearing and is scheduled to appear in Grande Prairie Provincial Court on March 31.

RCMP believe there could potentially be additional victims or witnesses and is asking anyone with information to contact police.
