Three local artists had their original artwork selected by a panel of judges to be installed at the Clairmont Adventure Park as part of the County’s Art For The Park project.

Three submissions were chosen for Site 1 which is along the wooden residential fences on the park’s east boundary. Winners are Daelyn Biendarra and her entry titled Dream View, Cassidy Guenther with Skateboarder.png and Quinn Goldberg with a submission called Fox Mountain.

Quinn was also the Site 2 winner. Artists in this category submitted concepts/ideas to be developed into an art for installation along the fences around the Clairmont Adventure Park. She entered the concept of a Honeybee Conservation Education Project. County staff will work with the young artist to develop her idea of placing cut outs of bees and other important pollinators along the chain link fence at the park. In the future, residents will have an opportunity to contribute to the project by painting individual components.

All artists who submitted work were entered in a draw to win a $100 gift card. The draw winners are Christina Read, Douglas Rieger, Daelyn Biendarra, and Chaney Tidd.

“We’re delighted that so many young artists participated in this project,” says Christine Rawlins, Parks and Recreation Manager. “The Adventure Park is a community gathering place and these pieces of art will add an inviting touch, made more meaningful by local resident contributions.”
