Environment Canada has issued a wind warning for the Grande Prairie region.  

Strong winds near 100 km/h that may cause damage are occurring. The gusts are expected to weaken early this evening. 

Environment Canada warns that loose objects may be tossed by the wind and cause injury or damage. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions due to high winds. 

Wind warnings are issued when there is a significant risk of damaging winds.
