As of yesterday evening (February 25), water has been restored to those affected in the Town of Beaverlodge.

Residents have been advised to run cold water taps for at least 5-10 minutes or until there is no odor of chlorine. Alberta Health has also recommended that residents boil their water before using it for cooking.

Public works is continuing to test the water quality and will advise once it is safe for consumption.

In addition, the Beaverlodge Town office is closed today, February 26 because of flooding issues. They are working on the issue.
