This issue has been resolved.

Telus is currently reporting a telephone outage in Brownvale, between Fairview and Grimshaw.  

One hundred seventy-four customers are without landlines and all cellular service due to network issues. This outage has affected the outgoing and incoming phone calls from both landlines and cell phones. The cause of the outage is unknown currently and a Telus service person is on route to investigate. 

Please be advised that local emergency services personnel are currently assembled at the Brownvale Fire Hall.  

All public are advised to respond to the Brownvale fire hall to report emergencies of any nature, while the outage is still in effect.
