On July 7 at 3:12 p.m., Beaverlodge RCMP received a report of break and enter in progress to a rural residence near Demmitt.

Beaverlodge RCMP attended and located a truck near the house with a male inside and the male was arrested without incident. Police found evidence that a second suspect had fled into the tall grass. As a result, an RCMP Police Dog Service (PDS) was deployed and once on scene, completed a track for the second suspect.

The RCMP PDS located the second suspect and during the arrest, the RCMP service dog made contact. The second suspect was treated by Emergency Medical Services for minor injuries as a result of the contact.

Charles Guy Noel De Tilly, 61, and Ricky Dale Wilson, 44, both of Horse Lake, were charged with break and enter to a residence with intent to commit an indictable offence therein.

Ricky Dale Wilson is facing an additional charge of resisting arrest of a peace officer.

Noel De Tilly was released to appear in Grande Prairie Provincial court on Sept. 14. Following a judicial hearing, Wilson was released to appear in Grande Prairie Provincial Court on July 22.

Several outstanding warrants for Noel De Tilly and Wilson connected to unrelated investigations were also executed.
