The Public Health Agency of Canada is reporting a flight from Grande Prairie to Calgary, and one from Calgary to Grande Prairie, with a potential exposure to COVID-19.

Affected flights:

  • WestJet Flight WS3191 on April 1 from Calgary to Grande Prairie; rows affected were seven to 13
  • WestJet Flight WS3178 on April 3 from Grande Prairie to Calgary; rows affected for 13 to 19

Those who were the affected rows are told to self-monitor for symptoms for 14 days. If symptoms develop, they are to quarantine immediately and contact their public health authority.

Health Canada considers a row affected if it’s three rows behind or in front of a seated person who was confirmed to have COVID-19 and may have been infectious to others.
