Town of Wembley looking for information on Public Works, Fire Department break-ins

On Friday, Feb. 5, the Town of Wembley announced a second break-in to a municipal building, after the Fire Department had one on Thursday.

Early on Friday morning, individual(s) forced entry into the Town of Wembley Public Works Shop and a theft occurred. The items taken will not be noted until a full investigation has been completed.

In a Facebook post, the town says, “This is a level of disrespect for our community knowing just days ago another community owned property was broken into and theft occurred.”

Anyone with information on the Fire Department Hall or Public Works Yard/Shop break-ins is asked to contact the Beaverlodge RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
