Bandaged Paws Animal Rescue is a primarily volunteer run, registered charitable organization and non-profit in Grande Prairie, AB. Their focus is to help injured, homeless, abandoned, or otherwise in need animals find permanent and loving homes. We focus on dogs and cats from our community as well as northern Alberta and surrounding areas.

They receive no government funding and rely entirely on the generosity of public donations and fundraising efforts. Most of our animals are in foster care but we do have a safe haven facility that has restricted public access for the health and safety of our animals.

They strive to help as many animals as possible and better the community in the process by encouraging positive interactions between humans and animals and promoting responsible ownership including spay/neuter, vaccinating and microchipping.

Thier rescue runs out of foster homes and they have a safe haven facility with limited public access.

During COVID-19, the rescue has had some issues with fundraising, but they have been keeping up with the challenge. Natalie Arsenault, executive director says, "We been working on adapting by doing virtual social distancing fundraisers and figuring out differnt way to bring in donations:"

They currently have 2 fundraisers happening now, for the month of May. A bottle drive is happening all month long, they are picking up bottles from homes around the area. You can contact them through thier facebook page or email them at info@bandagedpaws.org The next fundraiser will be with Value Village where they will be collecting house hold items for cash.
