The installation of a speed hump in the Wedgewood subdivision and bridge maintenance on Range Road 111 is resulting in temporary detours and closures of affected roadways in the coming week.

On Friday, September 17, a permanent speed hump will be constructed in Wedgewood at 9418 Wedgewood Drive South at the walking trail that connects the two parks.

Traffic will be disrupted and may experience closures for short periods of time. Drivers are advised to avoid the location if possible. This work is expected to be completed in one day, weather permitting.

Starting Monday, September 20, a section of Range Road 111 between Township Road 730 and Highway 672 will close between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. for bridge maintenance.

Traffic can detour using Highway 43, Township Road 730 and Highway 672 to access Range Road 111. View the project map below for closures and detour routes. This work is expected to be completed in two days, weather permitting.

Road closures and traffic disruptions will be in place for the duration of the project. Traffic may experience delays due to detours. Motorists are advised to obey all signs, flag persons, exercise extreme caution when travelling around the closure and allow extra time for travel.

The County thanks motorists for their patience and cooperation throughout the construction season.
