In early February, Dawson Creek RCMP became aware of a drug supply line coming into Dawson Creek from Alberta. Over the next six weeks, an investigation was initiated which included hours of covert surveillance and collection of evidence.

On the evening of March 21st, Dawson Creek RCMP executed a search warrant on a rural property in the Dawson Creek area.

As a result of the search, RCMP located:

  • Over an ounce of cocaine
  • An ounce of methamphetamine
  • 15 ounces of GHB
  • Two ounces of an unknown substance believed to be illicit drugs
  • A small amount of fentanyl and pills
  • Scales and buffing agents
  • Tally and scoresheets dating back to mid- 2020
  • Canadian currency
  • Ammunition
  • Two imitation hand guns
  • A collapsible baton

The homeowner was arrested on scene and will be facing numerous drug trafficking and weapons-related charges. This is one of several search warrants executed by the Dawson Creek RCMP over the last year to combat the sale and distribution of illicit drugs in the South Peace.
