County Regional Fire Service crews were kept busy Tuesday after responding to a late afternoon structure fire near Bezanson.

Firefighters from the Bezanson, Teepee Creek, Clairmont, and Dunes stations responded to the call at 5:20 p.m. Upon arrival, heavy fire could be seen coming from a residential structure. Crews worked to contain the fire and, despite high winds making suppression more difficult, were able to bring it under control.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

The structure fire was reported shortly after crews had finished dealing with a nearby vegetation fire, which was unrelated. That was the second vegetation fire of the day, with the first blaze located north of Bear Lake.
