CFA will be holding their annual Easter Production from March 28 – 30.

Last year’s production The Choice was their first drama performance after a 20-year absence.

Production Director Joy Dunn says, “They had done an annual production for many years. And so, we are really excited to get back into that flow and get the Easter production started. Moving forward, we hope there are many more years to come as we spread God’s word through drama and music”.

This year's production is called Who Will Call Him King of Kings, by Claire Cloninger. Dunn says it’s a different way of telling the story, it focuses on Paul and Silas’ imprisonment, and they are telling the story of Jesus while witnessing to the prisoners that are in jail with them. There will also be a choir acting out the scenes of Jesus’ life while it’s being told.

If anyone is interested in speaking or singing roles, there are still lots of spots available.

Dunn says, “We do have a few speaking roles that we are still trying to fill. Speaking or singing, and a combination of both. For the choir and or actors depicting the scenes, we will take as many people as possible who would like to join us.” They also need a keyboard player, stage crew, and stage manager.

Tickets are FREE and will be available soon through the church office.

If you’re interested in being a part of CFA’s Easter Production, or would like more information, call the church office at 780-538-1350, or email info@cfachurch.ca.
