There are just a few days left to help Nitehawk in the next step towards winning $50,000 towards their landslide recovery efforts.

Nitehawk is in the running to be Canada’s Top Peak and win $50,000 from the Mackenzie Top Peak contest. They’ve made it into the top 10, and have until Monday, March 22 to get enough votes to make it into the top five.

People can visit Nitehawk’s profile on MackenzieTopPeak.ca to vote each day, plus get them bonus points by posting on social media. Tag posts on Twitter and Instagram with #TopPeakNitehawk to get five points per post, up to three times a day per person.

Once the voting is concluded on March 22, the top five peaks will be announced. After that, a jury will determine the winner and announce on March 30.

The votes will weigh into the decision for 20 per cent, and the hill’s story 80 per cent. So even though Nitehawk is currently in tenth place and up against some large ski hills, they still have a fighting chance.

Nitehawk is asking for everyone’s help, as every last vote counts.
